Presyo ng mask, gamot sa apektado ng haze ipinakokontrol

Nanawagan si Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez na iregulate ang presyo ng N95 face mask, nebule at iba pang gamot para sa pagpapaluwag ng paghinga na ibinebenta sa mga lugar na apektado ng haze.
Ayon kay Romualdez dapat maki-alam na ang Department of Health upang masiguro na hindi mapagsasamantalahan ng mga negosyante ang mga tao na nais makaiwas sa sakit na maaaring maidulot ng haze na nakakaapekto sa kalidad ng hangin sa Visayas at Mindanao.
“I do not want to be an alarmist, but I am alarmed by reports that the price of face masks has doubled. Remember that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” ani Romualdez. “This will also help ensure the availability of medicines to the public especially people suffering from asthma and lung-related diseases.”
Dapat din umano ay nagbabantay na ng presyo ang Department of Trade and Industry at mga lokal na pamahalaan.
Maaari rin umano na mamigay ang gobyerno ng mga dust mask para sa mga taong walang pambili.
Umapela rin si Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Gov. Mujiv Hataman sa publiko na manatili na lamang sa loob ng bahay upang makaiwas sasakit na maaring dala ng haze.
“We should prepare for the worse because public safety is very important,” ani Hataman.
