OFW inabswelto sa alegasyon na ninakaw niya ang nanalong lottery ticket

INABSWELTO ang isang kasambahay Pinoy na nanalo ng $2.3 milyon sa Singapore noong Hunyo matapos naman ang alegasyon na ninakaw niya ang nanalong tiket.

Hindi magalaw ni Ms. Len, hindi tunay na pangalan ang kanyang napanalunan matapos namang i-freeze ang kanyang bank account bilang bahagi ng imbestigasyon ng pulis sa Singapore.

Tinawagan ng pulis si Len noong Huwebes ng gabi sa pagsasabing inalis na ang pagkaka-freeze ng kanyang bank account.

“I never stole the ticket,” said a relieved Len, 44, adding that she cooperated fully with the police,” sabi ni Len.

Ito’y matapos isang reklamo ang isinampa ng isang hindi nagpakilalang toa, sa pagsasabing ninakaw ang kanyang nanalong tiket.

Idinagdag ni Len na sumunod siya sa kautusan ng mga pulis na ibigay ang detalye ng kanyang bank record.

Dinala rin niya ang mga ito sa Tampines outlet kung saan niya nabili ang nanalong tiket.

Sinabi ni Len na hindi siya makapagpadala sa Pilipinas matapos namang ma-freeze ang kanyang account.

“We live in the village and we are very poor. My family, and my old parents, are waiting for me to send money back for food and school expenses,” dagdag ni Len.
