Hindi malaman ng leading man nina Anne Curtis at Andi Eigenmann sa pelikulang “A Secret Affair” na si Derek Ramsay kung ano ang isasagot sa isyung gusto ni Aiza Seguerra na siya ang maging ama ng magiging anak niya.
Plano raw kasi ni Aiza na bigyan ng apo ang magulang niya at si Derek ang gusto niyang maging sperm donor.
“Sperm donor? Sperm donor talaga?” kunot-noong sabi ng Kapatid aktor.
“I don’t…I’m the type…to donate my, my juices (tawag niya sa sperm)?
I don’t want to donate my juices,” paulit-ulit na sabi nito sa amin.
“Aiza, ano ba? How I supposed to react, di ba?
It’s ano, kung babaeng nagkagusto sa ‘yo, iba ang dating.
If a gay say’s that, iba rin ang feeling, but for a lesbian say’s that, that’s the top na talaga.
“With regards to that, they’re (lesbians) not attracted to men and for her to say that, and if she could have kids and have to choose a guy and it’s cool that she chose me, ang daming lalaki diyan, di ba?” paliwanag ni Derek.“I don’t think she really want that, she just put the situation what if?” dagdag pa ng aktor.
Sa madaling salita, tinatanggihan ni Derek si Aiza? “Ha-hahaha!
Alam n’yo, sa buong career ko, first time ako naging speechless ha, hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko sa inyo.
“Alam n’yo, kung siya nagtanong sa akin, baka puwedeng mangyari, pareho pa kaming skin head at maraming tattoo,” tumatawang sabi ni Derek.
Samantala, inamin ni Derek na sobrang nasaktan daw siya ng maghiwalay sila ni Angelica Panganiban, “My grieving period is done, I did that, people think na hindi ako nasaktan sa nangyari sa amin, I don’t like showing myself na umiiyak kahit na happy tears.”
At sa tanong kung ilang buwan din siyang umiyak, “I don’t know, but I didn’t count the days, ang importante, that I got back on my feet. And so with Angel, we’re both happy now and move on.”
Samantala, nilinis ni Derek ang pangalan ni Angelica na iniwan siya nito at ipinagpalit kay John Lloyd Cruz, “Don’t typecast her on that, nobody’s fault, she did not do anything wrong” diin ng aktor.
Sa mga tweet ng aktres ay galit na galit ito kaya curious ang lahat kung saan nanggagaling ang galit na ito ng aktres gayung may JLC na siya.
Naisip tuloy ng mga nakababasa na baka naman may ginawang hindi maganda si Derek kaya umuusok ang tenga ng dalaga.
“My name wasn’t put there (Twitter), everybody assume that was me, eh.
She never came out and said this Derek does or Derek is that, so I don’t know why lagi na lang pinag-aaway kami kahit tapos na.
Nu’ng hindi pa kami tapos, pinag-aaway din kami,” katwiran pa ng alaga ni Joji Dingcong sa amin.
Kinlaro ni Derek na hindi ang isyung may asawa siya kaya siya iniwan ng aktres, “‘Yung truth n’yan ang dapat ilabas.
I don’t wanna answer ugly issues like that. That’s why they called speculations.

“We were very open on how our relationship was and I think that’s why people followed and anticipated the next chapter of our relationship because true and real to everybody, it’s sad lang na mga good times namin nakalimutan na.
Samantala, tinanong namin ang tungkol sa mini-cooper na binawi raw ng aktor kay Angelica, “Isa pa ‘yang issue na ‘yan, okay, once and for all, I didn’t want to go out and defend myself, but the car kung binawi ko ‘yan at binenta ko ‘yan, e, di itanong na lang nila sa taong pinagbentahan ko.
“The car was sold over a year before the break-up!” pagtatapat ni Derek.
“We both decided to (sell), sayang kasi, it’s a vintage.
Mali pa nga ‘yung car na sinasabi nila, mini-cooper na millions, no! It’s like that Mr. Bean used to drive, so, it’s a car that requires a lot of your (time) need to put your love into the car for you to appreciate it and si Angel hindi siya maano (mahilig) sa kotse nasasayang ‘yung car so we both decided to sell it,” paliwanag pa ng aktor.
Samantala, ang pelikula nina Derek, Anne at Andi na “A Secret Affair” ay hindi raw tungkol kabitan, at sabi ni Derek mas na-challenge raw siya sa role ni Andi, “Andi will shine in this movie.
Sorry to say this but it took a lot of balls for her to accept this role and step-out of her image of being you know, young innocent teenager.
“This is not a sexy film, it’s a heavy drama which requires a lot of mature roles which she hit straight on.
I’m not saying na minani niya, ang kagandahan kay Andi, she asks questions, yes, nag-uusap kami ni Andi for about an hour in the room about what she’s doing finding it hard.
“I sat her down, talked to her sabi ko sa kanya, we’re all here as a team, and after that assurance, ibinigay niya lahat (sa mga love scene),” papuri ni Derek kay Andi.
Mapapanood na ang “A Secret Affair” sa Oct. 24 mula sa Viva Films sa direksyon ni Nuel Naval.
