MAGKAKAROON ngayon ng pagkakataon ang Gilas Pilipinas na maranasan kung paano labanan ang mga matitikas na manlalaro na puwedeng makaharap sa FIBA World Cup sa exhibition game kontra sa NBA team sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Sina NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard ng San Antonio Spurs, Blake Griffin ng Los Angeles Clippers, James Harden ng Houston Rockets, Paul George ng Indiana Pacers, Damian Lillard ng Portland Trail Blazers at DeMar DeRozan ng Toronto Raptors ang mga babandera sa NBA team na kakatawanin ang PLDT Home Fibr All-Stars.
“A lot of these guys may also go to Spain. So this event is a good chance for these players to watch one another,” wika ni coach John Lucas II.
Ang Gilas ay pangungunahan ni naturalized center Marcus Douthit at makakasama niya sina Jimmy Alapag, Larry Fonacier, Jayson Castro,Gabe Norwood,Jeff Chan, Marc Pingris, June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Jay Washington, Ranidel De Ocampo, Gary David, Jared Dillinger, LA Tenorio, Beau Belga at Paul Lee.
