Riot sa Bilibid 2 patay, 12 sugatan

 Nagkaroon umano ng riot sa loob ng New Bilibid Maximum Security Prison at dalawang preso ang nasawi.       Ayon kay Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano nakatanggap siya ng impormasyon kaugnay ng riot kung saan 12 iba pa ang nasugatan dahil sa pamamaril at pananaksak.       Nanawagan si Alejano na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang Department of Justice kaugnay ng rito upang malaman ang detalye nito.     “I call on the Department of Justice to conduct an investigation that would shed light on this incident. Prior to this, I was already tipped-off about a plan to instigate a riot inside the prison that would serve as grounds to kill-off a number of inmates.”       Kung kakailanganin ay makabubuti rin umano kung magsasagawa ng pagdinig sa naturang isyu ang House committee on justice.     “If further substantiation reveals that the reports have merit, I also call on the Committee on Justice or other appropriate committees to conduct an inquiry regarding matter.”
