Myrtle Sarrosa: Lagi akong sumasali noon sa pataasan ng boses!
MYRTLE Sarrosa has released her first album, ang “Now Playing: Myrtle” a 9-track fusion album crossing over ballad, pop, dance, R&B with influences of hiphop. She wrote all the songs in her album under Ivory Music and Video.
“Ako naman when I write songs, it’s really the emotions, eh. Dati pa naman sinasabi ko naman na gusto kong magkaroon ng albums na ako ang magsusulat ng songs ko,” say niya.
“Actually, bago pa man mag-PBB ay sumasali ako ng mga contest sa Iloilo. Alam mo ‘yung pataasan ng boses. Naranasan ko ring mag-kundiman. Meron akong musical background to begin with dahil sa grandparents ko na marunong mag-play ng musical instruments. Dahil sa kanila ay na-inspire ako to go into music,” kuwento pa ng dalaga.
Mayrtle used to play the piano and the guitar and lately ukulele. Included in the album are “Label”, “Ngayon”, “Mr. Pakipot”, “Heartbroken”, “Nasaan Ka Na”, “Still Love Me”, “Tadhana”, “Ngayon”, “Label” at “Sabi Nila”.
