HINDI napigilang maiyak ng King of Talk na si Boy Abunda during his speech as a special guest speaker sa 93rd Commencement Exercises ng Philippine Women’s University na ginanap sa PICC last Saturday.

At the same time, kabilang din si Kuya Boy sa mga nagmartsa sa graduation rites as one of the PWU’s graduating students on doctorate. He graduated from his doctorate degree on Philosophy and Social Development.

Nanay Lesing was not there sa graduation ni Kuya Boy because of her current condition.

Make Your Nanay Proud (MYNP). Indeed, he really made his Nanay Lesing hindi lang proud, kundi very, very proud.

Few days before his graduation ay nakausap namin si Kuya Boy.

“I am welcoming to any kind of name, Ha-hahaha! He went back to school through Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) at nakatapos ng kurso on Communications sa PWU.

“From my diploma I went for my Master’s in Communications. “I could have taken PhD in Communications. Pero nag-PhD ako in Social Development because I wanted a course that was not comfortable to me,” lahad ni Kuya Boy.

I don’t want to stop learning. I am an interviewer. It’s a constant discovery of news style. How people are doing it now. Hindi ka pwedeng magsabing ‘you are the best.’ Hindi, nagbabago, e,” diin niya.
