Solon uupo ilang araw bago mag-adjourn
Ilang araw bago magtapos ang sesyon maaaring mayroong bagong kongresista na maupo sa puwesto.
Sinabi ni Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr., na maaaring maupo sa puwesto si dating Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Jay Velasco at palitan si Marinduque Rep. Regina Ongsiako-Reyes.
“Yes it is possible,” ani Belmonte bilang tugon sa tanong kung makakaupo si Velasco, anak ni Supreme Court Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr.
Sa Pebrero 5 magsasara ang sesyon at muling magbubukas sa canvassing ng boto para sa pagkapangulo at bise presidente sa Mayo.
Nagdesisyon ang House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal na kilalanin ang desisyon ng Korte Suprema na nagtatanggal kay Reyes bilang kongresista dahil diskuwalipikado umano ito ng tumakbo noong 2013 elections dahil isa pa siya noong American citizen.
Nauna ng inatasan ng SC si House secretary general Marilyn Barua-Yap na ilagay ang pangalan ni Velasco sa rolls of members ng Kamara.
