Blogger na ‘Fashion Pulis’ hinuli matapos kasuhan ng libel ni Deniece Cornejo

INARESTO ang “Fashion Pulis” entertainment at gossip blogger na Michael Sy Lim, kahapon ng mga otoridad kaugnay ng libel na inihain laban sa kanyang ng kampo ni Deniece Cornejo.
Sinabi ni Police chief inspector Elizabeth Jasmin na inaresto si Lim ganap na alas-11:30 ng umaga ng mga elemento ng Women and Children Protection unit ng L.P. Leviste st. sa Barangay Bel-Air, Makati City.

“He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Marie Claire Victoria Mabutas-Sordan, RTC Branch 95, Antipolo City under CC 15-50252 for violation of Sec. 4 (c4) of RA 10175 (libel) with Php16, 000. Bail recommended,” sabi ni Jasmin.
Agad na dinala si Lim sa Crime Lab Group para sa kaukulang medical examination.

“The arrest was conducted in response to the request of Ms. Deniece Cornejo and Atty. Ferdinand Topacio as part of the CIDG Quality Assurance Support to Victims program,” dagdag ni Jasmin.

Sa kanyang tweet, sinabi ng @FashionPulis na, “Held in the CIDG office. Sad how people abuse libel to curtail press freedom.”

Naging kontrobersiyal si Cornejo matapos niyang akusahan at TV host at komedyate na Vhong Navarro ng rape noong 2014.
