Pangakong pondo para sa Yolanda victims hindi pa natutupad
Iniangal kahapon ni Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ang mabagal umanong pagpapatupad ng rehabilitasyon sa mga lugar na nasalanta ng bagyong Yolanda noong 2013.
Ayon kay Romualdez sa P167.9 bilyong pondo sa ilalim ng Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan tanging P47 bilyon pa lamang ang dumarating.
“It just highlights the fact that there were lots of promises made, but still remains unfulfilled. A lot of commitment of resources that have not been delivered,” ani Romualdez.
Kahapon ay inilabas ng Social Watch Philippines, na pinamumunuan ni dating National Treasurer Leoner Briones, ang kanilang financial audit kaugnay ng mga pondo na inilalabas ng Department of Budget and Management sa ilalim ng CRRP.
“For sake of transparency, the government should show itemized expenses of these funds,” dagdag pa ng solon.
