Dating Beauty Queen tinalakan si Toni, tinira pati kulay at ilong
WE were not able to watch the Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant but we were floored with nasty comments against Toni Gonzaga.
Ang daming naimbiyerna sa dyowa ni Paul Soriano.
She was rude raw during her hosting stint sa nasabing beauty pageant.Among those comments we saw against Toni, isa ang ikinaloka namin.
It came from Nina Ricci Alagao, a former Bb. Pilipinas-Universe candidate who bashed Toni so hard that many of the multi-media fans reacted. Kaagad binura ni Nina ang post niyang ito at nag-sorry na din daw kay Toni.
“I admired how KC Concepcion handled not-so-satisfactory answers a few years ago, and managed to make Filipinas look good in the eyes of the judges especially the foreign ones, despite those Q and A blunders.
“This time I sensed over-confidence almost to the point of arrogance. And the way she prodded some of the judges to proceed with the Q and A was as if she was at par with these well-respected people in terms of age and experience.
“She lucky she’s 30 and is where she is in life at this point. Try going back 15 years to the time when she was brown-skinned, her nose untrimmed, to the time when she would pass by and you would not take notice; and the time she was not allowed into a TV network building because she was mistaken for an alalay.
“Maybe that would remind her how it once felt to be humiliated, and be a little more forgiving with people who aren’t perfect.
“With all due respect the Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant is the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant and is not a venue for ridicule and disrespect by a host.
I hope she realizes that the one person she ridiculed the most for the world to see was none other than herself, proving that even though she may have hosted many events and shows in the past, hosting a prestigious beauty pageant may not be for her.
“As my good friend Direk Edu Pillora put it, leave that kind of hosting to PBB not BBP.”
