Pacman pinagmumura ng mga galit na bading, Lea rumesbak
Still on Miss Universe, halos ipako sa krus ng isang guy si Manny Pacquiao na isa sa judges sa nasabing pageant. Isa kasi si Pacman na inaasahan niya na magpapanalo kay MJ Lastimosa pero hindi ito ang nangyari.
Pasok si MJ sa Top 15 and then Top 10 but she failed to make it to the Top 5. Minura si Manny ng isang guy at inakusahan itong parang si Lea Salonga. When Lea kasi was one of the judges ay hindi rin nagwagi ang ating candidate.
“Sampu kaming judge. Kahit if I put Philippines 1st, if everyone places her last, wala na. Haaaay common sense,” reaction ni Lea. Why is MJ’s loss in the Miss Universe pageant a big deal to Pinoys? Eh, kasi naman, halos lahat naman ng Pinoy ay fans ng beauty contests.
Talagang malaking impluwensiya sa atin ang mga nananalong beauty queens, malaki silang inspiration especially sa mga beki.
This explains kung bakit kahit na tapos na ang competition ay talk of the town pa rin ang mga kaganapan sa anumang beauty contest and not only Miss Universe in particular.
We all love beauty queens. We put them sa pedestal. Why is this so? Because everyone wants to be a beauty queen kung maaari lang.
