Nasa time.com na, ang website ng Time Magazine, ang issue ng FHM March cover ni Bela, now starring in two big projects of GMA, ang Hiram Na Puso na magsisimula sa Afternoon Prime this Monday kapalit ng nagtapos kahapon na Kokak at sa GMA Films movie “My Kontrabida Girl” starring Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica na opening this March 14.
Big push sa career ni Bela ang pagku-cover niya sa FHM.
Kaso nga, natamaan ang original cover ng public opinion sa internet wherein Bela is all glowingly white in a two piece red swimsuit with about four or five very “colored” ladies.
Tinawag itong racist. That the other models were also light skinned na pininturahan lang ng black is more racist daw dahil hindi nga ipinakita ang tunay na kulay ng Pinay so FHM had to rush another cover.
Take note, hindi lang ang Time ang pumik-up ng news dahil kahit si Bela, in-interview naman ng BBC, ang biggest TV network sa London.
Of course Bela is not happy with the change of cover but they have to succumb to public opinion.
Sabi nga namin kay Bela, ask the FHM management to still sell the controversial cover pero in a limited edition internet only non-published cover para sa mga interesado.
Tiyak na bebenta ang magazine nang limpak-limpak.
