Guiao sinuspindi, pinatawan ng P100K multa
PINATAWAN si Rain or Shine head coach Joseller “Yeng” Guiao ng one-game suspension at P100,000 multa ng PBA Office kahapon dahil sa masamang asal na ipinapakita nito sa laro.
Nakipagkita si Guiao kay PBA commissioner Chito Salud kahapon ng umaga matapos na mapatalsik ito sa loob ng hardcourt ng dalawang sunod na laro sa Game 3 at Game 4 ng PBA Philippine Cup best-of-seven semifinals dahil sa pagmumura nito.
“Following this morning’s meeting with Coach Yeng Guiao regarding his use of a dirty finger pointed toward the commissioner’s and tech committee table, this Office hereby metes out on Coach Guiao the penalty of one (1) game suspension and a fine of one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000) for persistent conduct unbecoming of a Coach exhibited in a manner positively indicating disrespect, if not disdain or scorn, for the league as an institution and its fans,” sabi ni Salud sa isang pahayag.
Mawawala naman si Guiao para sa Rain or Shine sa laro ng Elasto Painters bukas kontra Petron Blaze Boosters sa Game 5 kung saan asinta nito ang makapasok sa ikalawang diretsong Philippine Cup Finals.
