BUMABA man sa pinakahuling survey ng Pulse Asia ang approval at trust rating ni Pangulong Aquino, naniniwala pa rin ang Malacañang na tiwala pa rin ang taumbayan sa kanyang administrasyon.
Sa katunayan, ipinagmalaki pa kahapon ng Palasyo ang bumabang approval rating ni Aquino na 73 porsyento nitong nakaraang buwan mula sa dating 79 porysento na naitala noong Setyembre.
Maging ang trust rating nito ay bumaba rin sa 74 porysento mula sa dating 76 porsyento. Kung tutuusin, ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma, maituturing na mataas pa rin ang rating ng pangulo sa kabila ng mga sunud-sunod na kalamidad na naranasan ng bansa.
“In the aftermath of a series of calamities and the tremendous challenges arising from these, the President continues to enjoy the support of about three out of every four Filipinos,” ayon kay Coloma.
Ayon pa kay Coloma, plano ng gobyerno na tanungin ang mga mamamayan para makahingi ng suhestiyon sa publiko. “The President and the members of his Cabinet have rolled up their sleeves and are determined to vigorously implement in 2014 the major programs of the Philippine Development Plan with a renewed sense of urgency and determination,” dagdag ni Coloma.
