Officially, the GMA Primetime Queen’s new primetime soap is titled Carmela.

Originally planned as Katarina – Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Balat Ng Lupa, inayawan ito ni Marian dahil for one, she doesn’t like the name and two, baka kahit hindi siya ang nag-isip ng titulo ay matira na naman siya at sabihang feelingera.

Incidentally, si Marian din ang nag-suggest ng title/character name change to Carmela and na-approve naman ito ng GMA so she’s happy with the official title.

Ikalawa, official na rin ang dalawang leading men ni Marian, younger guy Alden Richards and mature Raymond Bagatsing. The character of Raymond was originally offered to Gabby.

Still, it will be Alden and Raymond pa rin ang partners ni Marian at kasado na ito. Kaso, nagkita mismo sina Marian and Gabby in an event last week at nagkausap sila.
