We were surprised to learn that he doesn’t bring money anywhere he goes, “I don’t carry money.

Masuwerte ka na kapag hinoldap mo ako and you will get 20 pesos. I don’t like money. I give it to my wife,” chika niya. Very admirable ang simple living na ginagawa ni Papa Jack, “I want very little things in life.

Nakatira lang ako two blocks away from the office. Pagpunta ko sa office people would bring food.

This popular radio host is not materialistic, “I don’t have new phones unless kailangan kong bumili ng bago like kapag nasira o nabasag. I don’t buy new things ‘pag Pasko, ayoko. Hindi ako ma-mall na tao.”

Actually, Papa Jack learned a lesson nang maholdap siya nine years ago while he’s on his way home sa Caloocan. Naholdap siya and after that he realized na “all materials things are temporary”.

“I know them, I still know them pero hindi ko sila tinuro. They know that I know them.

Magagalit ako ng one day, two days, ‘pag naiinis ako mga one hour pero after that wala na. Masayahin akong tao, eh,” he said.
Merong change for the better campaign ang ine-endorse niyang Krem-Top so we asked Papa Jack kung anong magandang pagbabago ang naganap sa kanya.

“I do not believe in marriage dati, talagang ayoko.
“And then I got married siguro kasi I found someone I cannot afford to lose.

Ako ang kuwestiyon ko lagi kapag may bagong tao sa buhay ko, ‘can you lose the person?’ My answer is no so pinakasalan ko (wife) siya,” says Papa Jack.
