PROMO MECHANICS
1. This promo is open to all readers of Bandera nationwide.
2. Promo period: Nov. 18-Dec. 18, 2013.
3. Participants must look for the “Katropa, MerryGalo ka sa Bandera” coupon which may be found in different pages of Bandera. Each coupon which will be printed daily will have a corresponding code.
4. One (1) coupon will be published from Monday to Sunday. The coupon will have a different code per day.
5. Participants must be a Globe, Smart or Sun subscribers. To join, they need to register first and then submit the code via text/SMS.
6. To register for the promo, participants should text the required information to 4467 following the syntax below. They will then receive a confirmation message from Bandera acknowledging their mobile phone number’s registration to the promo.

7. To earn an entry via SMS/text: Once the participant finds a coupon in Bandera, he/she can send in the following information to 4467 in the correct format and sequence as shown below:

BANDERA’S CONFIRMATION SMS MESSAGE/REPLY:
“Salamat. Ang iyong text ay natanggap na. Gupitin at itago ang “Katropa, MerryGalo ka sa Bandera” coupon na may code. Ito ang iyong proof of entry. Maaari pang magpadala ng ibang entry. Bumili uli ng Bandera at i-text ang MG CODE na nasa coupon. Araw-araw mag-text at baka ikaw ang manalo. Promo runs from Nov. 18-Dec. 18. Per DTI-NCR Permit #0000 Series of 2013. See print ads for details. P2.50/text.”
8. All information sent will be kept confidential and will be used solely for this promo service.
9. Registration to this promo is only once and is free of charge. One text is equivalent to one entry. Sending of entry is P2.50/text. Bandera shall consider the entry-sender as the owner of the SIM card.
10. A registered participant is allowed to send one entry per day. He/she can send additional entry in the succeeding days, but the entry to be submitted should have a unique promo code and should not be a duplication of the previous code. Any attempt to send additional entry using the same code will not be recognized and accepted for the promo.
11. Entries using any of the codes, regardless of publication date, shall be valid during the entire promo period.
12. “Katropa, MerryGalo ka sa Bandera” coupons with their corresponding codes used to earn raffle entries must be cut out and kept to be shown as proof of purchase in the event that the participant’s entry is chosen in the draw. Winners who are not able to present the coupon with the corresponding code will be disqualified.
13. Entries will be drawn via electronic raffle on Dec. 19, 2013, 3:00 P.M.
14. Each of the three (3) winners will have:
* Cherry Mobile K1 phone
* Rechargeable Lamp with AM/FM Radio and Torch
* Flat iron
* Single burner gas stove
* Rice Cooker
– Metro Manila: 1 – Visayas: 1 – Mindanao: 1

15. Winners shall be notified by Bandera through registered mail, phonecall and text/SMS.
16. A participant can only win once.
17. Cut-off date for sending entries: Dec. 18, 2013, 11:59 P.M.
19. Draw will be held at Inquirer Publications, Inc. office (4/F MRP Bldg., Mola St., cor. Pasong Tirad, Makati City) to be facilitated by IPI staff in the presence of a DTI representative.
20. The names of the promo winners will be published in Bandera a week after the draw date.
21. All winners below eighteen (18) years of age need to have their parent/s or legal guardian with them to claim their prize. Both the winner and parent/guardian should present valid ID. The latter should also present proof that s/he is the legal guardian of the winner.
22. Prizes are transferable but not convertible to cash.
23. Winners from Metro Manila may claim their prize at: Inquirer Publications Inc., Marketing Department 4/F Media Resource Plaza Mola St., cor. Pasong Tirad, Makati City
Provincial winners may claim their prize in the nearest Inquirer Publications’ satellite office:
* Visayas: Kaohsiung St. corner S. Osmena Road, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City
* Mindanao: Unit 214, Pink Walters Bldg., Quimpo Blvd, 76-A, Davao City
Winners may claim their prize upon receipt of the registered mail from Bandera.
24. All winners must present the following to an authorized Inquirer Bandera representative: Two (2) valid IDs with complete name, picture and correct address. Photocopies of any of the two documents (driver’s license, employment/school ID, SSS ID, and/or passport) should be submitted upon claiming of prize.
Proxy’s valid identification and authorization letter from the winner (if prize is claimed through an authorized person).
“Katropa, MerryGalo ka sa Bandera” coupon with the corresponding winning code. Copy of the notification letter or text/SMS from Inquirer Bandera.
e. The SIM card used to join the promo.
IMPORTANT: Failure to submit any of the required proof and documentation is a ground for disqualification.
26. All prizes must be claimed within sixty (60) days from receipt of registered mail sent by Inquirer Publications, Inc.
27. All unclaimed prizes after the said date shall be forfeited in favor of Inquirer Publications, Inc. with DTI approval.
28. All employees of IPI, its sister companies under Inquirer Group and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join the promo.
