‘Para kay B’ ni Ricky Lee maraming pasabog sa stage play version

SURE na sure kami na excited at abangers na ang mga fans sa pagsasalin sa teatro ng pinakamabentang nobela ni National Artist for Film and Broadcast Ricky Lee, ang “Para Kay B.”
Mula sa LA Production House at Fire & Ice Live, mapapanood na ito simula March 14 to 30, 2025, sa Doreen Black Box Theater, Ateneo de Manila University.
“Fire & Ice Live is about creating experiences and amplifying stories of the unseen, and Para Kay B embodies that-it’s a raw, witty, and unfiltered exploration of love’s unpredictability, the heartbreaks we endure, and the rare but magical exceptions to the rule.
“Being part of this production, both as an actress and as a producer, feels like coming home to a story that has touched so many hearts.
“Playing Ester is deeply personal, as it mirrors my own journey of discovering love beyond expectations,” ang pahayag ni Liza Diño, CEO ng Fire & Ice Live at isa sa cast members ng “Para Kay B.”
Hinango ito para sa teatro ng kinikilalang si Eljay Castro Deldoc, na isang Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards recipient, kasama ng nagbabalik sa pagdidirek na si Yong Tapang, Jr. na unang kinilala sa kanyang 2019 film na “Doon Sa Isang Sulok.”
Ang “Para Kay B” ay nag-explore sa mga kumplikadong pag-ibig sa pamamagitan ng magkakaugnay na buhay nina Lucas, Bessie, Irene, at Sandra.

“People need to see Para Kay B because it speaks to a lot of generations. It is a literary masterpiece that served as a roadmap to a generation looking for love, loss, moral, and social issues.
“Love letter din namin ito sa mga manunulat at sa artists na patuloy naghahanap ng mga wento,” ani Tapang kung bakit kailangang mapanood ng mga Pinoy ang play na ito.
Ang adaptation na ito ay nakatakdang maghatid ng isang emosyonal na tagpo at visual na nakahihimok na karanasan, na nananatiling tapat sa kakayahan ng nobela habang nagdaragdag ng isang bagong pananaw sa teatro.
Bukod kay Liza Dino, kasama rin sa cast sina Nicco Manalo, Gold Aceron, Jay Gonzaga, Wency Vencila, Divine Aucina, Yesh Burce at marami pang iba. Ang power LGBTQ couple na sina Liza Diño at Ice Seguerra ang producers ng play with their Fire And Ice Productions.
