Enzo, Romnick itinanghal na Best Actor sa Emirates Film Festival sa Dubai

DALAWANG Best Actor awards ang nakamit ng Pilipinas mula sa 11th Emirates Film Festival (EFF) na ginanap sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Ito ay dahil kina Enzo Pineda at Romnick Sarmenta na kinilala ang mahusay nilang pagganap sa inilaban sa magkaibang entry.
Nagwagi si Romnick sa kanyang role sa full-length film na “Occupied,” kung saan siya ay gumanap bilang teacher-mentor sa isang pasaway ngunit matalino na estudyante.
Si Enzo naman ay nanalo dahil sa pinagbibidahan niyang short film na “As The Call, So The Echo” na tungkol sa human organ trafficking.
Kamakailan lang, proud na ibinandera ni Enzo ang latest achievement sa pamamagitan ng Instagram Story.
Doon niya ipinakita ang naging acceptance speech nang tanggapin ang parangal sa entablado.
“I feel blessed and lucky to have been honored in a globally renowned film festival. This award is for all our Filipino brothers in the film industry,” saad sa post.
Patuloy niya, “No man is an island, and it’s always a collective effort when it comes to creating award-winning projects.”
“I’m thankful for the guidance of our director and scriptwriter, Direk Rusty. This award is for the whole team that worked on the movie,” aniya pa.
Bukod sa dalawang aktor, may iilang Pinoy filmmakers at artista pa ang nakapag-uwi ng tropeyo.
Kabilang na riyan ang direktor ng “As The Call, So The Echo” na nakuha ang Best Director award.
Nanalo rin ng Best Actor ang indie star na si Joseph Binayao para sa kanyang pagganap sa “Post Parto.”
Ang itinanghal na Best Actress ay sina Meljun Viloria De Ocampo at Mia Aquino dahil sa “Post Parto” (short film) at “Isa sa Isang Daan,” respectively.
Naging Best Supporting Actress naman si Jen Caisip na gumanap sa “Abnegasyon,” habang kinilala naman si April Pearl Delos Reyes dahil sa debut film niyang “Exit 59.”
