Letran humirit ng do-or-die Game 3

SA  pagkakataong ito ang mga bench players ng Letran Knights ang kuminang para maitabla ang 89th NCAA men’s basketball Finals sa 79-74 panalo sa San Beda Red Lions kahapon sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Si Mark Cruz ang nanguna uli sa kanyang 16 puntos para pamunuan ang apat na Knights na may doble-pigura pero hindi nagpahuli ang mga reserves na sina John Tambeling, Jamil Gabawan at McJour Luib na nagtulung-tulong sa 19 puntos.

May 10 puntos sa huling yugto si Cruz at ang kanyang dalawang free throws sa huling 10.9 segundo ng laro ang nagtiyak nang panalo matapos ilayo ang koponan sa limang puntos.

Humataw si Cruz dahil halos nasa bench siya sa ikatlong yugto bunga ng fouls.

Ngunit hindi naramdaman ang kanyang pagkawala dahil sa mahusay na pagdadala ni Luib at matapos ang yugto ay nakaangat pa ang Letran ng tatlong puntos, 54-51.
