NAPILI na ang Top 20 semi-finalists na babandera sa next round ng Miss World Philippines 2024 competition!
Ang coronation night ng national pageant ay ginanap ngayong July 19 sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.
33 candidates ang nag-aagawan sa korona, pero agad din silang nalagas.
Ang mga unang tinawag sa Top 20 semi-finalists ay mga nanguna sa fast track events ng national pageant, habang ang huling dalawa ay nagwagi sa “Beauty with a Purpose” challenge.

Ang mga nabanggit na contenders ay maglalaban-laban naman para sa Top 10 finalists at eventually ay para sa ilang korona at titulo ng Miss World Philippines.
Samanatala bago ang Top 20, unang in-announce sa show ang mga nag-uwi ng special awards:

Ang hosts ng event ay sina Billy Crawford, reigning Universal Woman Maria Gigante, Reina Hispanoamericana runner-up Emmanuelle Vera at aktor na si Teejay Marquez.
Present naman sa event ang chairperson ng Miss World Organization na si Julia Morley, pati na rin ang reigning Miss World na si Krystyna Pyszkova from Czech Republic.
Maswerte ang makakakuha ng Miss World Philippines title this year dahil siya ang unang makakapagsuot ng bagong korona na ang tawag ay “Ray of Hope” na gawa ng Oro China Jewelry.
At speaking of winner, nauna nang nabanggit ni reigning Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol sa interview ng INQUIRER.net ang ilan sa mga katangian na hinahanap niya sa magiging successor niya.
“I want a woman who is empowered, who is also empowering those around her, and will never forget that even after she is crowned, or even if she isn’t crowned,” sey ng Frensh-Filipino beauty queen.
Dagdag pa niya, “Of course, it’s generations of legacy that I’ll be passing on, and I want someone who is well-rounded, someone who has all the abilities, someone who can take that responsibility, not just for herself, but for the community that is around her.”
Bukod sa nasabing titulo, kaabang-abang din kung sino ang mananalo bilang Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas at Miss Philippines Tourism.
