Jed sinagot ang mga paratang ng dating manager: It's a family matter

Annie Mercado at Jed Madela

Sabi ni Annie sa kanyang Facebook post, “So im doing my business and moving on with my life of positivity, joy and peace and tried to ignore pesky flies. But a friend sent me a song.

“Once and for all, im putting an end to this. Since he went public via a song, i am no longer going to keep quiet about this person. Im naming him dont worry.

“This song is about relationships but we’re not dumb to think its not about us, the very family who took good care of him and loved him from the day he set foot in manila. So yeah im not playing the game of this ungrateful man anymore.

“‘Wish u the worst’ (his new song) – this song tells you so much about the kind of person the singer truly is. Title pa lang he invested on negativity na.

“Its Full of negativity, hate, and bitterness always playing the ‘victim’ when he is the offender.

“He’s always played the game ‘if the shoe fits’… well sorry, i dont wanna play… i don’t hide behind songs and post with double meanings.

Baka Bet Mo: Jed Madela naisipang tumigil na sa pagkanta: ‘Hindi na ako masaya how the industry was treating me…ibinigay ko naman lahat’

“So here it is: Jed Madela, dont taunt me with a song. Panindigan mo yan ha. Let’s go to the press and tell all. If you dont wanna, i will. I think people wanna know the truth. Share until this reaches him because he blocked all of us,” aniya pa.

Kasunod nito, inalala ni Anne ang mahigit dalawang dekadang pagsasama nila ni Jed bilang talent at manager, “I’ve managed him for 23 yrs until he is what he is right now. Thats the business side.

“Ive known him since birth and me and my family loved him unconditionally, like a son and brother. And he chose to disrespect. That for me is my closure. End of the line,” aniya pa.

Sa interview ng ABS-CBN kay Jed, sinabi nitong nais niyang ayusin kung anuman ang problema sa pribadong paraan, “It’s a family matter, and we’re trying to deal with it privately.”

At tungkol naman sa kanta niyang “Wish U The Worst,” hindi raw siya ang nagsulat nito at wala siyang pinatatamaan sa lyrics kaya na-shock siya da reaksiyon ng dating manager.

“I didn’t write the song. It was written by Kio Priest. It just so happened that it was offered to me, I wanted a new sound.

“Ni-record ko siya, you have to go with the flow of how things are now. It just so happened na it got caught in the middle. It’s a song.”

Sabi pa ng singer, “I never stopped saying na I am grateful. Sila naman ang nagsimula (ng career ko). They started my career, Tita Annie brought me to Manila. She helped me get into showbiz.

“It was, we were a team. In time kasi, we all have to grow. Kami, we have different priorities now.

“Sila, they’re focused on WCOPA (World Championship of Performing Arts). Ako, I’m focused on a new chapter in my life doing something different naman.”

“I guess things just have to happen, but I do hope things get better. That was the message of my final song (sa nakaraang concert sa Music Museum), that all will be alright in time, if we learn to forgive,” ani Jed na ang tinutukoy na “final song” ay ang “Leaves” ng Ben&Ben.
