PROUD na proud na ibinandera ng ilang celebrities ang latest milestone sa kanilang buhay.
Muli kasing bininyagan si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, pati ang celebrity couple na sina Marco Gumabao at Cristine Reyes.
Ang special moment ay ibinida sa kani-kanilang Instagram page kung saan makikita ang ilang litrato at video ng ginawang pag-baptize sa kanila nitong Linggo, June 23.
Caption ni Catriona, “So fulfilled to take the step of publicly declaring my faith today.”
Naikuwento rin ng beauty queen na nagbinyag na siya noong baby pa siya, pero nais niya raw itong ulitin ngayong adult na siya.
Wika pa niya sa IG, “So thankful to the community and family that @favor.mnl is. Thank you God for never ceasing in the pursuit of my heart.”
Saad naman sa IG post ni Marco, “Today marks another milestone in my life, I publicly declared my faith in Jesus through the sacrament of baptism.”
Chika ng aktor, “A little back story, I’ve been a Christian for almost 20 years now and this is my 2nd baptism. I’ve had moments in my life where I was on fire with my faith in Christ and I thought that the fire would never burn out, but there were also moments where I was searching for myself because I simply drifted away from Him, minsan mainit minsan malamig.”
“I would find joy in worldly things, where in fact our joy should be found in Christ,” wika pa niya.
Proud niya ring sinabi na lagi niyang ilalagay sa sentro ng kanyang buhay ang Diyos.
“I don’t know the plans or purpose He has for my future, but one thing is for sure, I will be ready for it and I will trust Him! Wherever God calls me, I will make sure that His name will forever be glorified through my life,” saad niya.
Kasunod niyan ay binati niya rin ang kanyang girlfriend na si Cristine na kasabay niyang bininyagan.
“Congrats to us @cristinereyes, this a new step in our Christian life together and I wouldn’t want to have this with anyone else. I love you [red heart emoji].”
Nagpasalamat din siya sa kaibigang aktor na si Dominic Roque: “Isa sa mga tunay kong kapatid, proud na proud ako sayo! Nandito ako palagi sa tabi mo, and I know God will bless your heart, and I am excited for what’s to come.”
Mensahe naman ni Marco sa kanyang fans and supporters: “To you who’s reading this, I want you to know it’s never too late to go back to Jesus. Open your heart and let Him in [red heart emoji]”
Sa comment section, makikitang nag-reply si Dom sa kanya at sinabing: “Praise God brother! [red heart emojis] love you.”
Magugunitang naging usap-usapan recently ang chika ng showbiz insider na si Ogie Diaz na ayon sa kanyang source, ang dahilan ng paghihiwalay nina Dom at Bea Alonzo ay hindi nagkasundo sa relihiyon.
“Kino-convince nitong si Dominic si Bea na mag-convert sa Christian. According sa mga naririnig ko si Bea ay hindi pa siya convinced,” sey ni Ogie.
Dagdag niya pa, “So, lumalabas na hindi pa panahon para kay Bea raw na magpalit ng relihiyon kaya na-call off nga ‘yung wedding at ‘yun nga raw si Dominic ay hindi makapayag, so wini-win back niya ngayon si Bea. At si Bea ay nag-decide ng ‘wag nang ituloy ang (kasal) ayaw na rin niya.”
