KaladKaren dismayado sa PridePH: Unfair and unprofessional!
TILA hindi nakapagtimpi ang TV host at showbiz news anchor ng “Frontline Pilipinas” na si KaladKaren Davila at ibinahagi ang kanyang karanasan sa PridePH.
Ngayong buwang ay ipinagdiriwang ang Pride Month at isa ang event na ino-organize ng PridePH ang inaabangan ngayo na “Love Laban 2 Everyone: Pride PH Festival 2024″ na gaganapin sa Quezon City Memorial Circle kung saan kinuha siyang host.
Nag-rant sa Facebook si KaladKaren at sinabing hindi niya nagustuhan ang pagiging unprofessional ng organization matapos magkaroon ng adjustment sa kanilang schedule.

“I was invited last minute by your organization to host the 8-10 PM slot of the event on the 22nd. Kahit late invite na, I requested our management team na gawan ng paraan and adjust our schedule on that day dahil maraming ganap. I told them to make sure that 8-10 pm is available for the PridePH event dahil nakapag yes na ako sa kanila,” lahad ni KaladKaren.
Aniya, talagang maraming ganap ang June 22 kaya mahalaga ang bawat oras na kanyang kino-commit.
“I also have an event in the morning of the 22nd. I was invited (properly) by the QC government to be the guest of honor and speaker of the ‘graduation rights’for LGBTQIA+ members at QC circle. In the afternoon, I have a schedule for a brand shoot. So puno talaga schedule namin on that day,” bahagi pa ni KaladKaren.
Ngunit bigla raw nag-reach out ang PridePH isang linggo bago ang event na na-adjust ang oras niya mula sa 8-10PM slot to 12-2pm.
“I said I’m sorry I can’t do that because I have something scheduled after the ‘graduation rights’. My only availability for that day is the 8-10pm that you have initially requested. Tapos ang reply niyo… kung di ka keri mag adjust ng schedule, next year ka na lang.
“Ha?!! Hindi ba kayo ang nagbigay ng schedule na yun in the first place? I didn’t mind the late invite na nga… tried my best to adjust our schedule because I really want to do it for the community. Didn’t ask for TF etc. I just want to be there and celebrate pride,” hirit pa ni KaladKaren.
Aniya, bihira siyang mag-ere ng kanyang reklamo sa social media ngunit hindi niya talaga nagustuhan ang pangyayari.
“Now, how can you call this Pride when you let members of the community down? What happened to ‘we are stronger together?’ I rarely rant on social media, but I was really offended with how this issue was handled. I think this is unfair and unprofessional,” giit ni KaladKaren.
Samantala, burado na ang naturang post ng kilalang personalidad at nag-reach out na rin ang PridePH sa kanya.
