“THE struggle is real” para sa first-time mommy na si Kris Bernal lalo na pagdating sa usapin ng kanyang postpartum body.

Sa darating na August, 2024 ay mag-iisang taon na ang panganay nila ng asawang si Perry Choi na si Baby Hailee Lucca

Ayon kay Kris, napakarami niyang hinaharap na extra challenge hindi lang bilang hands-on mom, kundi maging sa kanyang sariling katawan matapos nga siyang manganak.

Sa kanyang Instagram Story, sinabi ng Kapuso actress na napakalaki ng ipinagbago ng kanyang katawan mula nang pasukin niya ang tinatawag niyang  “mom era”.

Dahil dito, na-realize niyang mas marami at mas naging malalim pa ang pananaw niya sa buhay because she found another purpose in life.

“To my postpartum body, I may not like you now. But, I am grateful for you and all you went through,” ang bahagi ng caption ni Kris sa kanyang IG post.

“Motherhood has given me a purpose to leave behind the things that were no longer meant for me and that I gratefully outgrew.


“I’m in my mom era and I couldn’t be happier,” sabi pa ng aktres at celebrity mommy.

Samantala, nagbahagi rin siya ng ilang advice sa mga tulad niyang first-time nanay at mga padedemom na bantayan at alagaan din ang kanilang mental health.

“I find myself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling with my mental health and it is greatly affecting my well-being,” sey ni Kris.

“I’m close to giving up breastfeeding exclusively. But, breast is best and I am blessed! Hangga’t may gatas pa, kakayanin!

“Thankful that up to this day I am still able to nourish my baby with milk! If you’re a new mom struggling with breastfeeding, I feel you. You’re not alone,” dugtong pa ng aktres.

Aniya pa, “Remember, your mental health is your main priority, seek support, and always remember that there are a lot of options to choose from that can still make our babies healthy.”
