But eventually along the way, you will find it.”

Pag-alala pa ng sikat na designer, “Siyempre, lahat kami started as young designers na bumibili ng tela sa Divisoria ‘nung bata kami until we were able to establish ourselves as designers ngayon.”

By helping the young designers to be able to make it big in the industry,” ani pa ni Bang.

“Dati kasi talaga puntahan ang Divisoria for any needs for any kinds of textile. But during the past few years, nag-dwindle talaga ‘yung desire sa Divisoria to avail textile,” kwento ni Mayor Honey.

Patuloy niya, “In fact, marami po sa mga designers natin would rather import or get their textiles from somewhere else. So it’s also the local government of Manila’s way to help ‘yung ating mga stakeholders doing business here in the city of Manila.”

Mensahe ni Mayor Honey: “To all inspiring fashion designers, keep on dreaming!”

“Make creation mirror yourself, express who you really are, think out of the box, try not to imitate other fashion designers. Be yourself, that’s it,” aniya pa.
