SUSPENDIDO ang face-to-face classes sa ilang lugar ngayong araw, April 5, dahil sa napakainit na panahon.

Ayon sa latest forecast ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), ang heat index ay posibleng umabot sa “dangerous category” sa ilang parte ng bansa.

Paalala ng weather bureau, ang heat index na lagpas 42 degrees Celsius ay pwedeng magdulot ng heat cramps, heat exhaustion, at heat stroke kung patuloy ang exposure sa init.

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ang heat index naman ay ang init na nararamdaman sa katawan ng tao.

  • Iloilo City – all levels (public)

 

Central Visayas

  • Talisay, Cebu – all levels until April 14 (public)
  • Toboggan, Cebu – all levels until April 6 (both public and private)
  • Asturian, Cebu – all levels until April 12 (public)
  • Sibonga, Cebu – all levels until April 12 (public)
  • Balamban, Cebu – indefinite on all levels (both public and private)
  • Badian, Cebu – all levels until April 19 (public)
  • San Fernando, Cebu – all levels until April 13 (public)
  • Toledo City, Cebu – all levels until April 13 (public)
