Paliwanag niya, “I feel like, totoo ‘yun sa branding ko na –I mean, I take it all in good fun.”

“I guess I have a gravitation or drawn ako sa pagsusulat ng sad songs…I guess that there’s unity in pain and I think there’s a beauty in the sadness of that and that’s why I want to be able to bring people together and make them feel less alone in that,” sey ni Jayda.

Ani pa niya, “I always say, I write from experience but I like to think that once I put up a song, it’s a people song as well, whatever they wanted to be. It’s however that impacts their lives.”

“I think it is probably one of the mature ones in the sense na if you listen to the lyrics, you see there’s a level of may accountability rin that it’s not always just one person’s fault why a relationship ends,” chika niya.

Dagdag niya, “This is one aspect of heartbreak that you kinda feel because you feel that this person could have been for you but because of some factors, ‘yun nga, pinagtagpo kayo pero hindi kayo tinadhana.”

At bilang Pambansang Sad Girl, ang ilan sa mga OPM artists na sa tingin niya ay swak na maka-collaborate niya in the future –ang bandang The Juans at si Zack Tabudlo.

“Right now, with the current style of music that I’m doing…’The Juans’ are actually some people that I would like to collaborate with. I feel like, thematically parang bagay doon sa vision ko. They have a lot of sad songs,” saad ni Jayda.

Patuloy niya, “Eventually, I’d love to collaborate with my friend si Zack Tabudlo. I’m a big fan of his.”

Maliban sa kanyang “Right Lover, Wrong Time,” sinabi ni Jayda na marami pang hugot songs ang aabangan sa kanya na talagang makaka-relate ang fans.

Expect more music, expect me trying me to get out of my comfort zone with my songs and start talking about more of life. I think that’s one of the things that I really like in the position that I’m in now because it feels like a clean state, parang bagong chapter ito ni Jayda,” sambit ng singer.

Ani pa niya, “And what I really like about is that people get to see the more human side of myself, so I think they can expect a lot more of that.”
