PNR walang biyahe sa Metro Manila simula March 28, suspendido ng 5 taon

MAY abiso ang Philippine National Railways (PNR)!
Simula March 28, suspendido ang operasyon sa Metro Manila at ‘yan ay magtatagal ng limang taon.
Ang mga istasyon na hindi na muna makakabiyahe ay ang Governor Pascual-Tutuban at Tutuban-Alabang, ang dalawang makabilang end stations sa Metro Manila.
Ayon sa PNR, ito ay upang magbigay-daan sa gagawing konstruksyon ng North South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project, at para na rin sa kaligtasan ng mga commuters.
“During the PNR suspension of operations in Metro Manila, the construction of the NSCR will be expedited by eight months and save at least P15.18 billion from the project,” sey ng PNR sa isang pahayag noong March 8.

Dagdag pa, “According to Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista, PNR services will be suspended to also ensure that passengers are safe while the construction of the NSCR is underway.”
Bilang kapalit, pwedeng sumakay sa alternative bus routes na ihahanda ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Ang mga bus sa southbound ay dadaan sa mga susunod: Divisoria (Tutuban), Mayhaligue Street, Abad Santos Avenue, Recto Avenue, Legarda Street, Quirino Avenue, Nagtahan Flyover, Mabini Bridge, Quirino Avenue, Osmeña Highway, Nichols Entry, SLEX, Bicutan Exit, Bicutan Entry, at Alabang (Starmall).
Heto naman ang ruta ng mga bus na nasa northbound: Alabang (Starmall), Manila South Road, East Service Road, Alabang (Entry), SLEX, Bicutan Exit, Bicutan Entry, Nichols Exit, Osmeña Highway, Quirino Avenue, Legarda Street, Recto Avenue, Abad Santos Avenue, Mayhaligue Street, at Divisoria (Tutuban).
Ang Southbound bus trips ay mag-uumpisa ng 7:30 a.m., 9:10 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 3:20 p.m., 7:30 p.m., at 9:00 p.m.
Habang ang Northbound bus trips naman ay babiyahe sa mga oras na ito: 5:00 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 11:00 am, 11:45 a.m., 5:00 p.m., at 6:10 p.m.
Paglilinaw ng PNR, kahit suspendido ang operasyon sa Metro Manila, mananatili pa ring operational ang mga istasyon sa Southern Luzon.
