Dyowa ni JK Labajo, pageant veterans bardagulan sa Miss Universe PH 2024
NGAYON pa lang ay nangangamoy bardagulan na sa magaganap na Miss Universe Philippines 2024 kung saan 55 kandidata ang maglalaban-laban.
Matapos ngang matanggal ang age limit para sa naturang national pageant, 30 percent ang itinaas ng bilang ng mga pumasang kandidata ngayong taon. Mula sa 38 last year, naging 55 na ang candidates this year.
Ang pinakabatang candidates sa pageant ngayong 2024 ay18 years old habang ang pinakamatanda ay 39.

Pasok ang pageant veterans na sina Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2021 Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Binibining Pilipinas International 2018 Ahtisa Manalo, Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate Stacey Gabriel, Miss Intercontinental 2014 second runner-up Kris Janson, at Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up Christi McGarry.
Lima sa mga napiling contestant ay nanalo na sa mga beauty pageant sa ibang bansa — yan ay sina Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2022 Alexandra Mae Rosales, Miss Tourism International 2019 Cyrille Payumo, Miss Intercontinental 2014 second runner-up Kris Tiffany Janson at Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up Christi McGarry.
