Palawan Rep. Edward Hagedorn pumanaw sa edad na 76
PUMANAW na ang dating mayor ng Puerto Prinsesa at kasalukuyang Palawan 3rd District representative na si Edward Hagedorn sa edad na 76.
Ang naturang balita ay mismong ibinahagi sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook post sa kanyang official page.
“With heavy hearts, we inform you of the passing of a beloved friend, brother, husband, father, and public servant, Edward Solon Hagedorn,” panimula ng naturang post.
Pagpapatuloy nito, “Our dear Congressman died peacefully on October 3rd, 2023, after 76 years of shining his light into the world.”
Wala namang nabanggit sa post kung ano ang naging dahilan ng pagkamatay ng kongresista.
“Cong. [Edward’s] life speaks volumes, particularly in his role as a champion for the environment, tourism, agriculture, and peace and order. His efforts created inclusive spaces for the community and inspired a collective desire for change.
“It’s hard not to be infected by his energy and laughter, which he freely shares with everyone he encounters.”

Inalala rin sa naturang post ang pagiging maotoridad ni Rep. Edward ngunit pagiging welcoming rin nito sa mga tao.
“His charisma shines through in every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on those he touches.”
“Above all, Cong. [Edward’s] life journey has always been fueled by hope and void of fear. He seizes each day as an opportunity to lend a helping hand to others on their own journey,” dagdag pa nito.
Nagpapasalamat rin ang staff ng namayapang kongresista sa mga taong nagmahal at sumuporta sa public servant joong nabubuhay pa ito.
“On behalf of Cong. [Edward], his family, staff and closest kin – we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your love and support, for joining us in celebrating his wonderful life, and most importantly…for being witnesses to the remarkable journey he lived with such zest.”
“As of the moment, the family has not yet discussed any public service arrangements. However, we promise to keep you informed as soon as we finalize the details. In the meantime, please keep Cong. Ed’s wife and children in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this time of sorrow.”
Bago maging kongresista ay naging alkalde ito ng Puerto Prinsesa noong June 1992 hanggang June 2001.
Matapos ang isang taon ay muli itong naluklok sa pwesto niong November 2002 hanggang June 2013.
