Vina Morales kilig na kilig sa unang pagsabak sa broadway: ‘It was magical!’

SA kauna-unahang pagkakataon, sumabak na sa broadway ang batikang singer na si Vina Morales.
Ang kanyang unang show bilang broadway actress ay nagsimula noong September 22.
Para sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, napabilang siya sa first all-Filipino production ng “Here Lies Love” bilang Aurora Aquino sa loob ng isang buwan na mapapanood sa New York City, USA.
Si Vina ang kapalit ng multi-awarded Filipino Broadway star at Tony award winner na si Lea Salonga.
Sa Instagram, proud na ibinandera ni Vina ang ilang snippets ng kanyang first-ever broadway acting.

Ayon pa sa kanya, “My Broadway debut was magical [emojis]”
Naikuwento niya rin na ito ang isa sa mga bucket list na natupad na niya.
“I am overwhelmed by the love and amazing reviews [folded hands emoji],” wika niya.
Masaya pa niyang caption, “I made it to Broadway! Yeay! A dream come true and another checked on my bucket list…Now I can say I am a Broadway Actor [emojis] to God be the Glory [folded hands emoji]”
Kwento pa ng veteran singer, mayroon pa siyang 31 shows kung saan magtatapos ang kanyang pagganap bilang Aurora sa October 22.
Kasabay niyan ay isa-isa niyang pinasalamatan ang lahat ng bumubuo ng “Here Lies Love.”
“To all our producers, production team and amazing cast Thank you all for the love and for welcoming me with love and positive energy [happy face with heart-eyes emoji] I can feel it in the room when you raised a welcome toast for me! I was in tears of joy [holding back tears emoji],” wika niya.
Aniya pa, “Love love to our beloved @msleasalonga and direk @thebobbygarciaco [heart emoji] To my management @starmagicphils @lovecapulong and to my family @ceanaml Thank you and love you all [heart emoji].”
May pahabol na mensahe din siya para sa mga fans na nanonood sa kanyang show.
Se niya, “P.S. For those who were calling my name during the show [emoji] I can hear you ok and I am KILIG but I can’t smile back and wave at you coz I am in a Role character hehe.”
“Sa concert na lang po ako mag hi sa inyo [happy face emoji] pero I’m kilig that you guys are cheering for me [heart emoji] Salamat po [emojis],” dagdag pa niya.

Kung maaalala, nauna nang nakausap ng BANDERA si Vina upang hingan siya ng reaksyon patungkol dito sa malaking oportunidad na makapag-perform sa Broadway Theater sa Amerika.
“Yes tuloy ako sa Broadway, dream come true for me. Another bucket list checked,” sey niya sa amin.
Chika pa niya, “Doing the role of Lea Salonga…she was the one and Direk Bobby Garcia who guided me along the way. They were so kind and very supportive. Thankful to them.
“I actually auditioned for that years ago that’s why the director Alex Timbers and David Byrne is familiar of me.”
Dagdag pa niya, “I am very excited ‘coz dream ‘yan ng lahat ng theater artists to be on Broadway.”
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Associated Press, inihayag naman ni Lea na proud siya na makakasama nila ang kapwa-singer na si Vina.
“I am so excited to share the news that my friend Vina Morales will join our fabulous all-Filipino company in Here Lies Love! So talented and lovely, but most of all, so kind. She will be a wonderful addition to our cast!” saad ni Lea.
