NAGPAKUMBABA ang content creator na si Ayn Bernos at nag-sorry sa mga fans and supporters ng Kapamilya actress na si Kathryn Bernardo.
Naglabas ng apology letter si Ayn matapos mabatikos dahil sa inilabas niyang article about Kathryn sa digital publication na Nylon Manila, kung saan siya ang nakaupong editor-in-chief.
Ang nasabing article ay may titulong “We’re here for Kathryn Bernardo’s Experimental Era,” kung saan nakasentro ang kuwento sa pinag-uusapang pelikula ng aktres na “A Very Good Girl”. Kasama ni Kath sa movie ang internationally-acclaimed actress na si Dolly de Leon.
Nang mabasa ng supporters ni Kathryn ang nasabing artikulo ay tinawag nila itong “backhanded compliments” dahil pinuri nga nito ang dalaga pero may mga pailalim namang pang-ookray at pangnenega.

Sinita rin nila si Ayn dahil pinayagan daw nito na ma-publish ang naturang article kasabay ng pagpuna sa pagiging advocate niya ng women empowerment.

“While there is nothing wrong with that, we can’t help but feel that Kathryn can do more than just the typical roles. We know that she has the talent, she just needs the right vehicle to do it.

In-edit na ang lumabas na artikulo pero hindi pa rin tumitigil ang mga netizens sa pamba-bash sa publikasyon at kay Ayn. Kaya naman nag-post na rin si Ayn sa X ng kanilang open letter na may caption na, “Thank you for calling my attention and I promise to do better.”
“Hi everyone, recently, we published an article titled ‘We’re here for Kathryn Bernardo’s Experimental Era’ with every intention of commending her new role on A Very Good Girl.
“I understand, however, that I have overlooked the tone and word choice in some parts of the piece.
“I take full responsibility for this. Personally and professionally, I believe in lifting women up and creating safe spaces for us to thrive, and I am sorry for this oversight.
“This new role is not something I take lightly, and this experience has taught me so much about how much more work I have to do. I am listening. I am grateful for your feedback, and I will do better,” ang pahayag pa ni Ayn.
