Michelle Dee inamin na ‘open secret’ ang pagiging bisexual, aprub kay Melanie Marquez: She never made me feel there’s something wrong

MASWERTE ang reigning Miss Universe Philippines na si Michelle Dee na walang kahirap-hirap ang kanyang paglantad sa kanyang sekswalidad.
Nakwento kasi ni Michelle na tanggap ng kanyang mga mahal sa buhay, lalo na ng kanyang mga magulang ang pagiging bisexual niya.
Ayon pa sa kanya, all-out support ang ibinibigay sa kanya ng ina na dating beauty queen na si Melanie Marquez pagdating sa ganitong bagay.
“My mom pa naman she’s like queen of the gays so she never made me feel that there was something wrong with the LGBTQ community,” sey ni Michelle sa ibinanderang latest YouTube video.
Chika pa niya, “She will be the first one nga that would say, ‘Oh anak, you know if you have a girlfriend dapat mas maganda sayo’.”
“She told me to always shine as my own person, be confident on my own skin, and I never really felt like there was anything wrong with who I was,” patuloy niya.
Dahil daw sa maluwag na pagtanggap na nakukuha niya ay hindi na raw siya nagulat sa tunay niyang identity.

“So my initial reaction would be ‘kebs lang’, it wasn’t really a big deal for me and hopefully, people will get empowered by that also and if you’re so sure about what you have to offer to the world then nothing should face you,” dagdag niya.
Nabanggit pa niya na isang “open secret” ang pagiging bisexual niya at ito raw ay alam na alam ng mga taong malapit sa kanya at matagal na niyang nakakatrabaho.
“I’ve been in the industry for quite some time and my sexuality has been a very open secret with my peers, people I have worked with, and people that have been around me for the longest time,” kwento niya.
Paliwanag pa niya, “So honestly, this is a move to empower people that may feel trapped, may feel like they need that extra boost of confidence.”
“But how do I feel? I feel great, I feel validated, I feel very empowered and hopefully this inspires somebody else to be empowered as well,” ani ni Michelle.
Kung maaalala, kamakailan lang ay ibinandera ni Michelle sa buong universe na isa siyang bisexual.
Nag-come out ang Kapuso actress at beauty queen sa gitna ng mga naglalabasang kung anu-anong chika tungkol sa kanyang gender, kabilang na nga riyan ang mga litrato niya noong kabataan niya.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Michelle na naniniwala siyang hindi big deal ang kanyang sexual identity sa mga advocacy na ipinaglalaban niya.
