“WOW! Ganito pala ang maging nanay. Being a mama is a world of its own,” ang tuwang-tuwang pahayag ng Kapamilya actress na si Iza Calzado nang mapag-usapan ang tungkol sa kanyang baby.

“I had so many decisions to make then. There were so many choices to make. Sometimes, everything could be so overwhelming for me.

“I really couldn’t imagine having this child in my 20’s. That’s me. Knowing myself, how I am, how I was, I know now is the perfect time. It always works out the way it was supposed to be.

“I’m not the type who go on like I should have, would have, could have.

Being a mama is a world of its own.

Nakakaloka. Ang sarap. It’s like getting a stamp, ‘You’re a mom.’ It’s a new chapter. It’s exciting and it really came at a perfect time,” aniya pa.

Aminado rin naman siya na mahirap talagang talagang maging ina, “Especially the first three months, those are so crucial, because you are experiencing post-partum moments. There are so many people happy for you, but they had no idea what you’re going through.”

“Being a mom is a job for a superhero,” Calzado maintained. “I wouldn’t be able to do this without the kind of support that I get, especially from my ‘angel’ at home, my yaya.”

“I take no shame in saying that because I have no family that I can turn to.

Mensahe pa niya sa mga kapwa niya mommy para sa nagdaang Mother’s Day, “Great job to the moms. You are all amazing and you need to know that.

“Motherhood is filled with self-love, but it can also be very empowering. The best way to empower yourself is to pat yourself at the back and give yourself that break,” dagdag ni Iza.

Paglalarawan naman ng aktres kay Baby Amihan, “She’s a talkative baby. I don’t know where she got her kadaldalan. She is always curious and very aware. She looks like her dad.”
