Elijah Canlas unti-unting tinutupad ang Hollywood dream: ‘I’ve submitted three or four self-taped audition videos abroad’

IBINUNYAG ng award-winning young actor na si Elijah Canlas na gumagawa na siya ng paraan upang matupad ang kanyang Hollywood dream.
Sinabi niya sa Inquirer Entertainment na isa sa mga halimbawa ng Hollywood production na nais niya katampukan ay ang drama film na “Triangle of Sadness” na tampok ang Pinay actress na si Dolly De Leon.
“Right now, the dream is more alive than ever,” sey ni Elijah.
Patuloy niya, “I want to direct a film someday. But I also want to be a part of a Hollywood production, like ‘Triangle of Sadness’ or anything of that calibre. That would be a blessing and a dream come true.”
Naikuwento pa niya na nagpapadala na siya ng audition videos sa iba’t-ibang production outfits ng ibang bansa.
“At this age, it’s already easy to do this. Sending self-taped auditions is practiced not only in Hollywood, but in different countries as well,” kwento ni young actor.
Dagdag niya, “I’ve sent three or four videos already. A couple of weeks ago, I met international agents who came to Manila to visit.”

“Yes, we’re taking steps. I’ve submitted videos, although no one has picked it up yet … but that’s the actor’s life,” aniya pa.
Nabanggit din ng aktor na super proud siya para kay Dolly dahil sa naabot nito sa pamamagitan ng “Triangle of Sadness.”
Makakatrabaho niya ang batikang aktres sa upcoming movie nila na “Keys to Heart” na kung saan ay magiging ina niya ito sa pelikula habang ang kanyang papel ay bilang bata na may autism spectrum disorder.
“When we began shooting, I was surprised when I heard her call me by my nickname, Jelo. She said she’d been watching me since I was 12, while performing in theater,” kwento niya.
Chika pa niya, “I call her Nanay now. I send her messages from time to time, especially recently when I watched her at the Oscars. She is definitely living the dream.”
