NAKARATING na sa ating bansa ang Filipino-American actress na si Vanessa Hudgens para i-shoot ang kanyang travel documentary patungkol sa kanyang family history.
Kahit may dugong Pinoy, ito ang kauna-unahang beses na napunta siya ng Pilipinas.
Mainit siyang sinalubong ng ilang opisyal ng Department of Tourism, pati na rin ng Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications na si Secretary Paul Soriano.
Sa Instagram, ibinandera ng PR firm na PublicityAsia ang pagdating ng Hollywood actress mula Los Angeles.

Ang bonggang dokumentaryo ni Vanessa ay mula sa TEN17 Productions ni Sec. Paul na siya rin ang magdidirek.
“We are honored to work with Vanessa for this film project. It’s inspiring to note that with everything she has achieved in life, she wants to discover her Filipino roots and pay homage to her mother’s country,” sabi ng direktor.

Aniya pa, “Hopefully, this opens doors for many more collaborations to come.”
Ang taping ng nasabing docu ay gagawin sa Manila at Palawan na kung saan ay ite-trace nito ang kanyang pinagmulan bilang isang Filipino-American.
“I feel like ours is such a relatable story to so many women all over the world. The more that we can share, the more we can lift each other up,” sey ni Vanessa sa isang pahayag.
Unang nakilala at sumikat ang Hollywood star sa Disney Channel’s “High School Musical.”
Bumida rin siya sa mga pelikulang “The Knight Before Christmas” at “The Princess Switch.”
Mapapanood din siya very soon sa indie comedy na “French Girl” at “Bad Boys 4.”
