Anunsyo sa isang Facebook post, “Pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, s. 2022, Malacañang declares April 6,7, and 10 as regular holidays, and April 8 a special non-working holiday in observance of this year’s Holy Week (April 6-9) and Day of Valor (April 10).

Pahayag ng pangulo, “There is a need to adjust these holidays pursuant to the principle of holiday economics wherein a longer weekend will help encourage domestic travel and increase tourism expenditures in the country.”

“For the year 2023, New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday. In consideration of the Filipino tradition of visiting relatives and spending time with their families for this occasion,” giit pa niya.

“MRT-3 operations will be suspended from Holy Thursday, April 6, until Easter Sunday, April 9, to give way for the rail line’s annual Holy Week maintenance activities,” saad sa FB post.

“We normally take advantage of the Holy Week to perform our yearly maintenance activities,” saad ni LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera.

Aniya pa, “With this, we appeal for understanding from the riding public and request that they plan their trip and take alternative transportation during this period.”
