IKINUMPARA ng kilalang starmaker na si Johnny Manahan ang Kapuso young actor na si Miguel Tanfelix kay Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Feeling daw ni Mr. M, si Miguel na ang susunod sa mga yapak ni Alden bilang isa sa mga itinuturing na hari ng Kapuso Network dahil sa ipinakikita nitong galing at propesyonalismo sa trabaho.
Sa isang video na in-upload sa YouTube channel ng Sparkle, ang talent management ark ng GMA Network na nagse-celebrate ng kanilang unang anibersaryo, mapapanood ang pag-uusap nina Alden at Mr. M.
Sa nasabing video, nagbigay ng advice at ilang tips ang dating head ng Star Magic ng ABS-CBN, sa mga artista ng GMA artists, kung saan binanggit nga niya ang Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob na si Miguel Tanfelix.
Ayon sa Sparkle consultant, “I like him. Miguel, I think, will make a very fine actor. Experienced ‘yan so as he grows, as he works, magiging Alden Richards din ‘yan.”
Sabi pa ni Mr. M, parehong nagsimula nang maaga sa mundo ng showbiz ang dalawang aktor at unti-unting gumawa ng sarili nilang pangalan sa entertainment industry.

Samantala, very soon ay mapapanood na uli si Miguel sa highly anticipated Kapuso primetime series na “Voltes V: Legacy” na sinasabing pinakamahirap at pinaka-expensive project sa history ng GMA.
Ito rin ang sinasabing “first serious epic sci-fi TV show” ng GMA na nakipag-collab talaga sa Toei Company, Ltd., na siyang gumawa ng original anime nito sa Japan kasama ang local licensor ng “Voltes V” na Telesuccess Productions, Inc..
Bukod kay Miguel na gaganap bilang Steve Armstrong, makakasama rin niya sina Radson Flores as Mark Gordon, Matt Lozano as Robert “Big Bert” Armstrong, Raphael Landicho bilang Little Jon Armstrong, at Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson.
Ka-join din sa serye sina Martin del Rosario (Zardoz), Carla Abellana (Mary Ann Armstrong), Dennis Trillo (Ned Armstrong), Gabby Eigenmann (Commander Robinson), Neil Ryan Sese (Dr. Hook), Epi Quizon (Zuhl), Liezel Lopez (Zandra), Carlo Gonzales (Draco), Christian Vasquez (Emperor Zambojil), at Albert Martinez (Dr. Richard Smith).
Matatandaang sa simula pa lang ay may mga bashers na ang “Voltes V: Legacy” dahil sa kuwento at visual effects nito base lamang sa mga lumalabas na litrato, videos at iba pang publicity materials about it.
Pero sabi nga ng direktor nitong si Mark Reyes sa isang panayam, “I’m ready to be crucified by the Titos and Titas of Manila, pardon the expression.
“Starting off, I knew, and people, close friends were telling me, ‘Are you crazy, you’re doing this?’ ‘Are you up to it?’ Kaya ba natin?’
“I’m determined na magagawa ito, so that wasn’t a problem for me, the repercussion of doing something this ambitious and how people are going to react. I said in my Facebook page that someone has to step up.
“Kung ang mentality natin ay crab mentality, ‘Bakit ninyo gagawin ang Voltes V?’ ‘Kapal niyo naman, wag niyo gawin yan!’ ‘Hindi niyo kaya yan!’
“Kaian pa tayo mag-uumpisa? We’ve been left behind by Korea, by Mexico, by India, in terms of the global market of doing something like this,” diin pa niya.
