Krissy Achino nabiktima ng mga online scammer bago mag-New Year: Grabe sila! Nakakainis at nakakaiyak talaga!
“GRABE! WALA NA TALAGA SILANG PINIPILI! (Warning: Long Post Ahead…),” ang simulang pagsusumbong ni Krissy.
“Share ko lang what happened to us JUST NOW. So every year, gaya ng karamihan ng mga pamilya, nagb’book kami ng place where we can celebrate Christmas & New Year. But since may inflation, New Year lang ang kaya naming i-staycation.
And today, sa Tagaytay namin napili mag-New Year’s Eve.
“Last December 17, naghanap ‘yung ate ko ng place where we can stay from December 31-January 1. She checked Booking.com and saw ‘Martha Royal Estate’.

“Maganda ‘yung place—malinis ang mga rooms (based sa mga photos posted on their FB Page), may towels, may ‘heated’ pool, spacious ang lugar, may lutuan, at pwede ang mga aso.
“My sister tried to message them directly sa Facebook Page nila, for easier and faster communication. Responsive naman sila and very accommodating sa mga questions namin.
“So to confirm our reservation, they asked for a 50% Deposit. Our villa costs ₱10,000 pero if fully paid at ise-settle ng buo, less 1K. So we grabbed that deal. We transferred ₱5,000 + ₱4,000 (see photos for reference) to a certain SHERYL FAJARDO via Asia United Bank & Maya Bank, respectively, para ma-complete ‘yung payment.
“Later on, nag-message ulit sila last December 27 asking we need water sa villa. They can order it na raw for us in advance. So nag-transfer ulit si ate ng ₱220 via GCash. And then lastly, they messaged last Wednesday, asking if we want to extend until January 2.
“May nag-cancel daw kasi so they can offer us the villa for half the price, at ₱4,000. Syempre, kinuha na rin namin para mas maraming time together with the family.
Pag may mga questions kami, in no time, may reply agad sila. NOT UNTIL they received the last payment, which is ‘yung 4K, last December 28.
Last night, we wanted sana to get the exact address, ‘cos sa Waze, ‘yung Martha Royale Estate ay isang village.
“Inisip na lang namin na maybe it’s too late na to get a response from them, kaya pinagpabukas na lang namin. Come this morning, wala pa ring reply.
“So we decided to go straight to the village na lang to look for it ourselves.
“Nanlumo kami because we were SCAMMED. We’re looking forward to celebrate this NYE pa naman ng maayos at matiwasay. According to the village guard, ilang tao ang pumunta last Christmas, only to find out na they were also scammed.
“‘Yung ilan sa kanila, between ₱25,000 to ₱30,000 ang na-deposit.
Kaya naman paalala ng komedyante, “So guys, let us all be vigilant sa mga ginagawa nating dealings & transactions online. Hope this serves as a reminder for all of us.
“Sabi nga nila, Karma is Digital. I don’t want to wish them bad, pero ang Diyos na ang bahala sa kanila. Hayst… Happy New Year everyone!!!” mensahs pa ni Krissy Achino.
