Lea Salonga, Pentatonix napakanta ng ‘Christmas in Our Hearts’ ni Jose Mari Chan

MAHIGIT isang buwan pa bago ang pagdiriwang Pasko, pero tila napaaga na ang pangangaroling ng music icon na si Lea Salonga kasama ang American acapella group na “Pentatonix.”
Nagkaroon kasi sila ng collaboration cover song ng iconic hit na “Christmas in Our Hearts” ni Jose Mari Chan.
Nakabandera na ‘yan sa YouTube bilang parte ng bagong album ng Pentatonix na pinamagatang “Holidays Around the World” na ni-release noong October 28.
Proud ding ibinandera siyempre ni Lea ang song cover sa kanyang social media at sinabing, “Yes, folks! This is happening! And to our friends in the Philippines, it’s the Christmas In Our Hearts you think it is!”

Proud namang sinabi ng Pentatonix na kakaiba ang kanilang Christmas album ngayong taon.
Dahil bukod pa kay Lea, tampok din sa bagong album ang ilang international artists, kabilang na ang pop star na si Meghan Trainor, Chinese pianist na si Lang Lang, Congolese singer na si Grace Lokwa, at Lebanese singer na si Hiba Tawaji.
Sey pa nila sa Facebook post, “This album is unlike anything we’ve ever released before! Much like the album’s title, HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD, we wanted to invite a few incredible artists from all around the world to help celebrate the season with us.
“These artists all sound amazing and we are so thrilled to have them on this record.”
Kaugnay rin niyan ay magkakaroon ng U.S. tour ang grupo.
Samantala, kamakailan lang ay binansagan si Lea bilang isa sa “TIME100 Impact Awardees” na ayon sa Time magazine ay dahil sa kanyang “life-long role model for children of color.”
Recently lang din ay tampok ang iconic singer sa bagong serye ng 2010 American drama series na “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.”
