PATULOY ang pagluluksa ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa pagpanaw ng kanyang kaibigan na si Cherie Gil sa edad na 59 nang dahil sa cancer.
Hanggang ngayon ay tila hindi pa rin matanggap ng actress-singer na hindi na niya makikita at makakasama kahit kailan ang itinuturing na niyang parang tunay na kapatid.
Muling nag-post si Shawie sa kanyang Instagram account ng isang throwback photo kung saan makikitang masayang-masaya ang yumaong aktres.
Aniya sa caption, “Wherever I go, you are with me. No Dorina without Laviña,” na ang tinutukoy ay ang mga iconic character nila sa classic blockbuster movie na “Bituing Walang Ningning”.
Dito nga nagmarka ang hindi malilimutang iconic line ng tinaguriang La Primera Contravida na, “You’re nothing, but a second rate, trying hard, copycat!”

Pagpapatuloy ni Sharon sa kanyang mensahe kay Cherie, “I feel like about half of me is missing. I really miss you.
“My Chichi…I will love you always,” pahabol pang pahayag ni Mega.
Ayon sa misis ni Kiko Pangilinan, tatlong linggo na ang nakalilipas nang tuluyang lisanin ni Cherie Gil ang mundo pero parang kahapon lamang ito nangyari.
Sa naunang IG post ni Mega, ibinahagi naman niya ang video clip mula sa isa pa nilang pelikula nila ni Cherir kung saan nakasama nila si Richard Gomez.
Aniya sa caption, “Now watching “Ngayon at Kailanman” for the first time in many years. Mainly for my Cherie. (P.S. Wow. My clothes in this movie were all mine. Probably cost more than my talent fee.)
“P.P.S. My gosh – Cherie’s presence and talent are totally incomparable. No one like her. I miss her too much,” sabi pa ni Sharon sa caption.
Isa ang Megastar sa mga unang nagbahagi ng mensahe ng pamamaalam kay Cherie na idinaan din niya sa IG. Makikita sa litratong ipinost niya ang huling pag-uusap at pagkikita nila ng kaibigan nang dalawin niya ito sa Amerika.

“Then barely eleven hours after I left you, I was awakened by his call saying you had passed…I leave New York now with a much heavier heart than ever before…because now I am leaving YOU with the knowledge that I will NEVER see you again…I cannot process it.
“It seems so unfair. It will never be the same without you. I will never be the same without you. I told you that you had to fight, please, because you couldn’t leave me & that you were my partner, that there is no one like you. You said yes.
