Denj is a young Filipina singer-songwriter and musician whose music takes inspiration from the folk-pop alternative while mixing her style.
Denj has a propensity for classic-old songs such as carpenters, DJ Alvaro, the Beatles, and such. She also looked up to Filipino singer-songwriters Yeng Constantino and Keiko Necessario.
They became her idols and influences that inspired her to write songs. Denj became a recording artist only this time of the pandemic.
Launching her three singles, she had the opportunity to be featured on different radio stations and variety shows.
Amidst the pandemic, she continues to hone her craft, currently performing in an acoustic band “In between Acoustics” and online recordings.
Can loving you more will change everything? Or do I have to go to make you love me?
“Being left behind without saying goodbye creates the ultimate scenario of ambiguity. It is not a beautiful experience. It is more painful especially if you’re someone who loves truly and deeply.
“But despite everything the song shows us that the lover still chose to love and has come to know, at least, that life after a breakup (even without a goodbye) can still be meaningful, happy, and exciting,” paliwanag pa niya.
