Gelli, Ariel proud sa pagtatapos ng anak sa Canada, pero may nakalimutang gawin sa graduation
PROUD parents ang celebrity couple na sina Gelli de Belen at Ariel Rivera sa naging graduation ng kanilang anak na si Julio sa York University sa Canada.
Dumalo ang dalawa sa naganap na commencement ceremony sa Canada at talaga namang todo cheer sa bagong achievement ng anak.
“Congratulations Julio!!! We are so proud of you,” saad ni Gelli.
Kalakip nito ay ang video clips ni Julio nang umakyat na siya sa stage, pati na rin ang pagmamartsa ng binata.
Aniya, nakalimutan daw nilang magkaroon ng family photo noong nasa school kaya naman nag-picture na lang sila sa bahay.
Dagdag pa ni Gelli, We documented his grad with lots of photos of him, videos of him, a few photos of us while waiting, but we forgot to take a family photo. So we just took one at home in our pajamas when we finally remembered.”
Nagkomento naman ang mga malalapit na kaibigan ni Gelli at nagpaabot ng kanilang pagbati sa pag-graduate ni Julio gaya nina Aiko Melendez at Arlene Muhlach.

Matatandaang noong nakaraang buwan ay nagsagawa ng surprise visit ang “2 Good 2 Be True” actress sa kanyang mga anak na sina Joaquin at Julio na kasalukuyang nasa Canada.
“So I decided to surprise my boys. They had no idea I was arriving in Toronto. They thought I had work and wouldn’t be able to visit this summer. So happy to be with my big boys,” pagbabahagi ni Gelli.
Samantala, aminado ang aktres na nagkaroon siya ng matinding separation anxiety at empty nest syndrome noong lumipad pa-Canada ang mga anak para sa kanilang pag-aaral.
Pagbabahagi ni Gelli, “I would cry all the time when we talk to the boys, but I try not to show them. I would sometimes go to the bathroom and cry there.
“For me, it’s better not to let them know because although they will not show it, I’m sure they’re also having a hard time coping with their situation. They will likely face challenges there that will be more difficult for them to surpass because we’re not with them.”
