Ariel ibinuking ang sikreto sa 25 years na pagsasama nila ni Gelli bilang mag-asawa: I just listen to my wife, that’s it!

MAKALIPAS ang 25 years, nananatili pa ring matatag ang intriga-free ang married life ng celebrity couple na sina Ariel Rivera at Gelli de Belen.
Isa sa mga itinuturing na ideal na mag-asawa sa mundo ng showbiz sina Gelli at Ariel na kamakailan lamang ay nag-celebrated na nga ng kanilang silver wedding anniversary.
At in fairness, marami rin ang pumupuri sa kanila bilang mabubuti at responsableng mga magulang sa dalawa nilang anak — sina Joaquin na 23 years old na ngayon at Julio na 21 na rin at parehong nag-aaral ngayon sa Ontario, Canada.
Sa naganap na virtual mediacon ng bagong drama series ni Ariel sa GMA 7, ang “The Fake Life”, natanong ang aktor at singer kung ano nga ba ang sikreto nila ni Gelli sa kanilang lasting marriage.
“I just listen to my wife, that’s it. We try to respect and understand each other’s views. There are a lot of other factors, but ‘yun ang root, the respect we have for each other,” tugon ni Ariel.
Nagkuwento rin ang celebrity dad tungkol sa mga anak nila ni Gelli na pareho nang binata ngayon. Paano nga ba nila ginagampanan ang pagiging magulang sa mga anak nilang nag-aaral sa abroad?
“One is graduating on June 13 from college so my wife surprised him. Umalis siya last week ako naman papunta doon June 12.
“The one graduating is taking Kineseology he wants to be sports doctor. Yung isa has something to do with mathematics,” pahayag ni Ariel.
“We are so fortunate though this generation now, we can communicate with them every day. Now videos na but at the same time iba pa rin yung nandito sila to embrace them, kiss them. We make it a point to go to Canada,” sabi pa niya.

Samantala, super happy naman ang aktor na napasama siya sa seryeng “The Fake Life” na mapapanood na sa GMA Afternoon Prime simula sa June 6.
Aniya, ang huling serye pa niya sa GMA ay ang “Mulawin vs. Ravena” limang taon na ang nakararaan. Ang role naman niya sa “The Fake Life” ay, “I play Onats Villamor. I’m a loving husband to my wife Beauty Gonzalez who plays Cindy and a devoted father to our daughter Jaycee played by Shanelle Agustin and our son Carlos Dala as Jonjon.
“We have a peaceful family life but I didn’t know that my wife has a dark secret from her past which will mess up our lives.
“We thought we have a good life but it turns out to be a fake life. I just want to say that I love being back in GMA. I have many friends here and I really enjoy working here,” kuwento ni Ariel.
Makakasama rin sa “The Fake Life” sina Sid Lucero, Tetchie Agbayani, Jenny Miller, Rina Reyes, Faye Lorenzo, Saviour Ramos at Will Ashley.

Chika pa ni Ariel, “We all bonded well during our lock in taping. Everyone really cooperated. Maayos ang samahan ng lahat and they all contributed their best to make the show really worthwatching for all the viewers.
“Sacrifice ito kasi our lock in taping was five weeks. Sabi ko, next time, ayoko na ng ganun katagal. Hanggang three weeks lang ako as I really miss my family,” pahayag pa ng aktor.
Mapapanood na sa GMA Afternoon Prime ang “The Fake Life” na siyang papalit sa timeslot ng “Artikulo 247” simula sa Lunes, June 3.
