3 Miss Universe queen muling nagsanib-pwersa para sa mga batang natulungan ng Smile Train
Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere at Demi-Leigh Tebow kasama ang mga batang beneficiary ng Smile Train Philippines
MULING nagsanib-pwersa ang mga Miss Universe queens na sina Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere at Demi-Leigh Tebow para sa isang makabuluhang proyekto.
Ito ay para sa isa nilang adbokasiya — ang pagpapalaganap ng awareness tungkol sa mga batang may cleft lips at cleft palates.
Pagkatapos nga nilang magpasabog ng kagandahan at positivity sa buong mundo para sa katatapos lang na Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night, nagsasama-sama nga uli ang tatlong reyna.
Personal talagang binisita nina Pia, Iris at Demi-Leigh ang mga beneficiaries ng Smile Train, na isang cleft-focused organization, under the care of its partner Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (NCFPI).
Bago pala sila mag-host ng Miss Universe Philippines, sinadya muna nila ang event ng Smile Train last April 30 bilang bahagi ng kanilang charity projects.

“With their support, we hope to reach more patients and families so that we can continue to provide them with the care that they need,” ang pahayag ni Smile Train Southeast Asia Vice President Kimmy Coseteng-Flaviano.
Bukod sa tatlong Miss Universe queens, kabilang din si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, sa mga naging global ambassador ng cleft charity noong 2020.
At hanggang ngayon ay patuloy pa rin niyang sinusuportahan ang mga advocacy ng Smile Train. Sa katunayan, noong 2021, personal din siyang nagtungo sa Kenya, Africa para makilala ang cleft care beneficiaries.
“Treating one child’s cleft doesn’t just transform that one life. It transforms the life of the parents, the family, and the community,” ang isa sa mga Instagram post noon ni Catriona tungkol sa nasabing proyekto.
