“Last June 23, 2021, I was sexually assaulted by a male individual. He eas one of the guests at an intimate private party I was hired to host for,” pagbabahagi ni Bianca Valerio sa kanyang video na ibinahagi niya sa Instagram nitong Miyerkules, March 30.
Pagpapatuloy niya, “I had never seen, met, or heard of this man before that evening. He told me he was working for a very popular mobile app.
“Since I didn’t have the app, he taught me how to use it and even gifted me with wallet credits this mobile app is known for.”
PR man”.
“I have survived many bullies like you all throughout my life. And in hindsight, knowing now what I know about you, I am probably one of the few who is actually genuinely kind to you,” pagpapatuloy ni Bianca.
“You know, even if you say it was just one night. For sure, even if you had just sexually assaulted me that one night…
“As any, as many victims of sexual and any form of trauma knows, the effects of PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder], the damage that it does to our physical, mental, and psychological health goes way beyond the moment it happened,” lahad ni Bianca.
“Trust me, I have blamed, tortured, and physically harmed myself nearly every single day ever since that night. So I know,” pag-amin ni Bianca.
“If there’s one person that is utterly disappointed in myself, it’s me. But I do not take responsibility for what he did. I do not take responsibility for the crime he chose to commit.”
“My silence strengthens the suffering, my silence helps no one, the only person who bwnefits from my shame and my silence is him. That ends today.”
Dagdag pa ni Bianca Valerio, “For the first time in my life, I finally know what it means when they say that ‘I am enough.
“I have never been proud in my entire life, simply by speaking up, with God as my strength, I have already won my inner battle.
“This is me claiming my power back.”
