Before Christ (BC), Before Common Era (BCE) at AD (Anno Domini).

I think that’s greed. My experience naman in outside world ako ‘yung naapektuhan ng greediness nila is that ‘yung either humingi, umutang, pag pinagbibigyan tapos hindi ka binabayaran buti na lang hindi malalaki. But still, you wonder na ang talo mismo, ako talaga. At some point, I was once greedy. Everyone at some point will be greedy.”

“On my end, ako kasi pinanganak kami giving talaga kami (Quizon children), I think the whole family is. Siguro natutunan namin sa tatay (Dolphy) namin ‘yun na masyadong mapagbigay as in pumipila sa labas ng dressing room para mamigay.

“I guess greed comes in different forms hindi lang monetary, pati emosyonal. Siguro mas naging greedy kami dahil disiotso kaming magkakapatid. One thing that time for a father, so, I guess doon ko talaga na-experience ‘yung greed. More on the emotional greediness, ‘yung selfishness siyempre mas gusto mong pansinin ka ng tatay mo.

“So, in terms of monetary akala ko itong pandemya mas lalo akong magiging greedy kasi under threat nga ‘yung family ko of course kinabukasan wala kaming trabaho, pero I guess parang hindi mo rin ma-practice ‘yung greed kasi maaawa ka sa mga taong nasa paligid mo na mas nangangailangan din ng tulong. So, I guess it’s not really in my nature to become greedy siguro kaya hindi ako naging milyonaryo maski na I’ve been working for quite sometime na kung tutuusin marami na akong dapat pera ngayon pero siguro naturuan kami ng tatay ko na maging mapagbigay kami, I guess until now, we practice that,” mahabang esplika ni Epy.

Say naman ni Diego, “For me, I guess greed it is just the lack of contentment whatever aspect that it is in your life, money or relationship really anything. Doon pumapasok ang greed, you’ll always [want] more than what you have. Sometimes we don’t acknowledge the things that we do have. And what tito Epy says, mapagbigay siya ganu’n din ako, eh. I could have save a lot more money in the past years that I have been in this business but I don’t because I’d rather be spending it on with my friends, family going out, enjoying life and I guess in a way I’m greedy in form of wanting company more than of having money. So, my greed is in that kind of category.”

At si Nadine, “Ako po, I guess growing up po kasi, well, I am breadwinner of the family, so, whenever I have gigs before or commercials that I used to do before. Every time I would get my talent fee, every time I would get money, it is always spent for the whole family, on the tuition fee of my siblings.

“So, when I started earning more because of the movies, teleseryes and the endorsements parang may time na naging greedy ako on spending on myself? Just because I didn’t experience buying the things that I like, just spending money on myself.

“But then eventually, I grew older and I learned, so, right now I am not really the same anymore but I do save the money for future, so, it’s completely different.”

“Everyone was telling me na she’s a social climber na dumidikit lang po sa amin kasi may pangalan po kami, so eventually she gets project din, ‘yung posting kasi she’s an influencer kasi she’s hanging out with us and it got worse kasi we found out that nagnanakaw na po siya ng pera.

“There was this one time na I have money in my room and then biglang nawala po ‘yung pera and it’s so happens na she was the only one who went inside the room.

We found out that she’s been stealing from other friends as well, so I guess that’s totally greed.”
