CONFIRMED! May iba pang big stars mula sa ibang TV network ang lilipat sa GMA 7 ngayong 2022.
Sa pagharap ng mga bossing ng Kapuso network sa ilang members ng entertainment media sa naganap na virtual presscon kamakailan ay natanong namin kung may mga celebrities pang magiging Kapuso ngayong taon.
Bukod sa mga writer at director na mula sa ABS-CBN, Kapuso na rin ngayon sina Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Xian Lim at Kim Atienza.
Ayon kay GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, “Yes. Pero hindi pa maa-announce, you will find out soon enough.”
Pero ano nga ba ang criteria nila sa pagkuha ng mga artista para maging Kapuso? “Star power, yung maraming following pero naghahanap din kami ng magbibigay ng excitement.
“Kahit up-and-coming na mga artists na makakadagdag sa excitement ng content sa GMA,” sabi pa ni Ms. Lilybeth.

Bukod dito, mas pinalalakas pa nila ngayon talent management arm ng Kapuso Network, ang Sparkle na dating GMA Artist Center.
“We are doing a lot of efforts sa Sparkle to have our own, and that is so exciting that we are coming up with our own artists, pushing our homegrown artists.
“So aside from yung mga big names na maaaring lumipat sa GMA, meron din tayong bini-build-up on our own and will be creating platforms on them on television para i-watch sila,” aniya pa.
Samantala, nagpaliwanag din si Ms. Lilybeth tungkol naman sa pagkuha nila ng mga bagong writer at director mula sa ABS-CBN tulad ni Direk Jerry Lopez Sineneng at award-winning screenwriter na si Ricky Lee.
“First of all, kaya rin nagkakaroon ng lipat, if you want to call it, is because may vacuum din, kumbaga kulang pa rin. Sa dami ng pinu-produce ng GMA, kulang pa rin ng writers, kulang pa rin ng mga direktor.
“Pre-pandemic, nagkakaubusan, and now that we produce ahead of time especially of these lock-ins, talagang nagkakaubusan, kahit artista.
“So, itong mga nadadagdag na mga writers and directors, they fill in a vacuum that we have,” pahayag pa ng TV executive.
“But they can only make things better for us even in terms of content kasi we are getting the good ones, really.

“We’re so happy that Ricky Lee is with us now, and I just cannot contain my excitement every time I listen to him.
“Talagang nakakadagdag siya nang malaki sa mga writers natin, even to the producers.
“All the other writers and directors that are coming in, I’m sure will bring in new perspectives in terms of how to attack a material.
“So exciting talaga na makakasama siya ‘tapos I’m sure they will also learn a lot from those who were inside already of the network, magkaka-exchange. That can only make things better,” dagdag pa niyang pahayag.
